Young recognizes students completing summer internships in Indiana and Washington offices

U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) has acknowledged the students who completed the second session of his summer internship program in both his Washington, D.C. and Indianapolis offices. The participants supported office operations and worked on projects involving legislation, communications, and constituent services.

The Washington, D.C. group included Natalie Morris from Crown Point, a junior at the University of Notre Dame; Sydney Melton from Washington, a junior at Indiana University Bloomington; Edythe McCurrie, a junior at the University of Notre Dame; Matthew Margo, a senior at Purdue University; Vincent Mann from Indianapolis, a junior at Princeton University; Kevin Boes, a second-year PhD student at Purdue University; and Lucas LaHood, a junior at the University of Miami.

Interns in Indianapolis were Samantha Kilgus from Indianapolis, a junior at Lipscomb University; Matthew Amante, a senior at the University of Notre Dame; Blake White from Camby, a recent graduate of Wabash College; and Collin Monesmith from Indianapolis, a senior at Indiana University Bloomington.

Senator Young’s office provides internship opportunities throughout the year in both Washington and Indiana locations. According to the announcement: “The internship program offers students the opportunity to experience the legislative branch of government and serve Hoosiers.”
