U.S. Senator Todd Young recently acknowledged the efforts of students who participated in the first session of his summer internship program. The internships took place in both his Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis offices, where students were involved in daily activities and special projects focusing on legislation, communications, and constituent services.
The Washington D.C. intern class comprised Evan McDonnell from Georgetown University, Caroline Modrall from Purdue University, Mya Hardin also from Purdue University, Rex Burkman from the University of Notre Dame, Jack Kirsch from Indiana University Bloomington, Makenna Watson from Purdue University, and Jack Henning from Indiana University Bloomington.
In Indianapolis, the interns included Eli Adams from Indiana University Bloomington, Yoezer Cassell from Hope College, and Georgia Carlson also from Indiana University Bloomington.
Senator Young's office provides internship opportunities throughout the year at both locations. These internships allow students to gain experience within the legislative branch and serve Hoosiers. Interested individuals can apply through Senator Young’s internship webpage or by calling 202-224-5623 for more information.
A video released by Senator Young offers additional details about the internship program.
