On Saturday, March 22 former Westfield High School Braden Smith competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Saturday, March 22, former Westfield High School standout Braden Smith’s current collegiate team the Purdue Boilermakers won 76-62 against the McNeese State Cowboys in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the McNeese State Cowboys during the championship.

Braden Smith’s hometown is Westfield and game position is guard.
