Rep. Spartz has made a statement regarding the current state of healthcare and potential reconciliation offsets. In her statement, she emphasized the urgency of addressing issues within the healthcare system. "If the GOP does not have the backbone to start fixing healthcare in reconciliation, we have to start a full government takeover now – before we completely bankrupt our country and our people," Spartz stated. She highlighted concerns about fraud and abuse by large monopolies impacting both fiscal and physical aspects of the nation.

Spartz outlined several proposals aimed at generating $2 to 3 trillion in spending offsets necessary for tax cuts. Her proposals include improving Medicaid for vulnerable populations, which she claims are discriminated against due to Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion. Additionally, she suggests that states should be more accountable with federal funds, criticizing what she describes as Medicaid money laundering schemes.

Strengthening Medicare for seniors is another focus area for Spartz, who argues that overpayments to large hospitals and insurers are contributing to market consolidation and hastening Medicare insolvency. She also calls for an end to what she sees as unreasonable Obamacare subsidies to insurers, noting that these were significantly increased under President Biden through 2025.

Furthermore, Spartz advocates for better access, pricing, and competition in healthcare value. She criticizes Obamacare's handling of health insurance deductions for large employers and accounting practices by tax-exempt hospitals. According to her, these issues contribute to increased healthcare spending and wage suppression while deteriorating access and value due to further market consolidation.
