Rep. Spartz has announced her decision to step back from participating in the Republican conference and its committees, also resigning from her role as chair of the regional policy committee. In a statement released today, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the current direction of Congress.

Spartz highlighted what she perceives as a mandate from the American electorate for the Republican party to focus on governance rather than mere rhetoric. She emphasized that the nation faces significant fiscal challenges that require courage and structural changes within Congress.

"This election the American people sent a resounding message and mandate to the Republican party to govern - not deliver talking points and messaging bills," said Spartz. She criticized what she described as "circuses" in Congress, stating, "As a serious legislator and finance professional, not a clown, I am not going to continue being involved in circuses."

Spartz intends to direct her efforts towards supporting President Trump and his administration's objectives through reconciliation processes. She aims to focus on substantial work for her constituents rather than engaging in committee presentations or social media activities aimed at fundraising.

"The swamp will be back in business in four years if not drained through the law," Spartz warned. She urged Congress not to let down President Trump or the American public again.
