Noblesville, IN – Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN-05) has revealed the victor of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, an event that has been running since 1982 by the U.S. House of Representatives. The competition showcases the artistic endeavors of high school students from all corners of the nation.

The first-place honoree for this year is Violet Taylor, a senior from Madison-Grant High School in Grant County. Her winning masterpiece, titled "Wonderflick," will be exhibited in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capital building in Washington, D.C. for a year, alongside winning artworks from other Congressional districts.

Reflecting on the abundance of talent displayed, Rep. Spartz expressed, "It's truly incredible to see the talent that Violet and many other young artists throughout Indiana's Fifth District possess." She added, "I want to thank all participants and I look forward to seeing Violet’s artwork displayed in our nation’s capital."
