Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Spartz (IN-05) addressed the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) Winter Meeting, emphasizing the need for swift action and less rhetoric from the free world.
"While our European allies and President Biden have been consumed by 'tough' talks and foolish energy policies, Russia and its allies, China and Iran, are on the offensive with hybrid warfare," Spartz pointed out during her speech.
Spartz highlighted the importance of decisive actions over mere words, stating, "Criminals, dictators, and KGB successors couldn't care less about grandiose statements - only decisive actions matter. The free world better get its act together soon."
In proposing tangible steps forward, Spartz suggested, "As a next step, we should put serious sanctions on Russian oil and consider confiscating Russian sovereign assets in response to the killing of Alexei Navalny."
The call for European allies to take concrete measures and prioritize action over dialogue was a central theme of Spartz's address at the OSCE PA Winter Meeting.
