Of the 341,616 people living in Hamilton County, Indiana in 2021, 50.8% (173,707) were women and 49.2% (167,909) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by North Indy News.

Data showed the average age for women in Hamilton County in 2021 was 38 years, lower than the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, women aged 18 and over outnumbered men in the same age group by 3,297. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 19,172 men and 23,566 women.
