The United States Senate has unanimously approved a bipartisan resolution to designate October 5-11, 2025, as “National 4-H Week.” The measure was introduced by Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and John Boozman (R-Ark.), with support from more than thirty other senators.
4-H is recognized as the largest youth development organization in the country, reaching nearly six million young people across the United States. The resolution aims to honor the contributions of 4-H in preparing engaged, healthy, and productive citizens.
Senator Young commented on the significance of the program: “4-H programs teach real-world skills and develop the next generation of ag leaders. I’m glad to support this resolution establishing National 4-H Week and recognizing the life-changing opportunities 4-H provides young Hoosiers.”
