U.S. Senator Todd Young has issued a statement on the second anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel. The attack, which occurred two years ago, resulted in significant loss of life among civilians, including Americans.
“Today marks two years since Hamas terrorists crossed the Israeli border and carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish community since the Holocaust, killing innocent civilians – including Americans. I continue to stand with the Jewish people, condemn all forms of antisemitism, and call for the safe release of remaining hostages from Gaza,” Young said.
Senator Young also joined Senator Joni Ernst and other colleagues in supporting a bipartisan resolution that condemns Hamas for its actions during the attack.
