Senator Todd Young highlights achievements in education and technology for Indiana

Senator Todd Young, U.S. Senator representing Indiana, shared several updates on his official Twitter account regarding education and technology initiatives in Indiana as well as recognizing local service members.

On September 29, 2025, Senator Young congratulated a local educator: "Congrats to Scott Hanback of @TSCsuper on being named 2026 Indiana Superintendent of the Year."

The following day, September 30, 2025, he highlighted an event supporting workforce development in high-tech fields: "Glad my team could attend the ribbon cutting for the Indiana Uplands Microelectronics Training Hub at the WestGate@Crane Technology Park. This hub will open new doors for Hoosiers to pursue high-tech careers in microelectronics."

Later that same day, Senator Young recognized military service by posting: "Great to see Lt. Col. Kent Lundy – who serves as Wing Chaplain for the 181st Intelligence Wing in Terre Haute – and his wife, Marti, today in DC. I appreciate their service to our state and nation."

Senator Young has been active in promoting STEM education and workforce training opportunities across Indiana. The launch of the Indiana Uplands Microelectronics Training Hub is part of broader efforts to strengthen the state's role in advanced manufacturing and technology sectors.
