U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) and U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy visited southwest Indiana to review the progress of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing bridge project. The visit included an aerial tour of the ongoing construction.
The delegation also included Indiana Governor Mike Braun, Congressman James Comer (R-KY-01), Congressman Andy Barr (R-KY-06), Congressman Mark Messmer (R-IN-08), Congressman Jefferson Shreve (R-IN-06), Indiana Secretary of Transportation Matthew Ubelhor, Kentucky Secretary of Transportation Jim Gray, and other local officials.
During the visit, Senator Young delivered opening remarks at a briefing about the bridge project. The group toured active construction sites and met with workers involved in building the bridge. After the aerial tour, Senator Young spoke at a press conference alongside Secretary Duffy and other stakeholders.
