Forum Credit Union Announces 2023 Charity Of Choice and Looks Back At 2022 Partnership

FORUM Credit Union supports an employee nominated charity each year. In 2022, FORUM’s Charity of Choice was Dayspring Center. Dayspring Center assists homeless families with children in central Indiana through shelter, food, clothing, and resources. They also empower their residents to become independent, self-supportive families again.

Throughout 2022, FORUM employees participated in quarterly donation drives to support Dayspring Center. Donations included computers, laptops, pillows, blankets, sheets, bath towels, non-perishable foods, paper towels, toilet paper, and more. Employees also raised money through “Designer Bag Bingo” contributions and auctions. From these drives, a new van was provided and a field trip was sponsored. FORUM employees raised over $57,800, and used 605 hours of paid volunteer time off supporting various charities throughout the community.

After taking an all employee vote in December, FORUM announced its 2023 Charity of Choice are the Humane Societies of Hamilton, Boone, and Marion Counties, as well as the Johnson County Animal Shelter in Franklin. The Humane Society aims to improve animal welfare, provide affordable pet ownership, and ensure the well-being, health, and safety of all animals under their care. They strive to promote the human animal bond and the mutually beneficial relationship this has on individuals, families, and the community.

FORUM employees are excited to continue serving the local community by partnering with these shelters in 2023
