Vote now for the Indiana Members Credit Union November Athlete of the Month!

Trailblazers fans! It’s time to vote for Indiana Members Credit Union’s November Athlete of the Month. 

Click here to Vote now! Voting closes at 11:59 pm on Friday, December 9th. The winning male & female athlete will receive a prize & certificate courtesy of Indiana Members Credit Union and be featured on all participating schools’ athletic websites.

Male Area Nominees:

Caleb Wright | Basketball | Sheridan High School

The Sheridan Boys Basketball Team defeated Cowan Tuesday Night (Nov 23) in a thrilling overtime game. The Hawks were led in scoring by Sophomores Caleb Wright with 20 points.

Gabe Snider | Wrestling | Hamilton Southeastern High School

In the last match against Frankfort, the match came down to Freshman 195-pounder Gabe Snider and he finished off his undefeated day with a pin to seal the victory for the Royals!

Asher Propst | Cross Country | Noblesville High School

The Noblesville Millers recorded the second Podium finish in the program’s history as they raced to a 5th place finish at the IHSAA State Finals at Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute. Asher Propst was the leading Miller with a 6th-place finish.

Kole Mathison | Cross Country | Carmel High School

Carmel senior Kole Mathison went out fast in a bid to break the record for the 5,000-meter LaVern Gibson Championship course. His time of 15:02.8 was 14 seconds off Futsum Zeinasellassie’s mark but comfortably ahead on an afternoon in which the temperature rose into the 70s.

Female Area Nominees:

The Entire Guerin Catholic Girls Team | Cross Country | Guerin Catholic High School

The Guerin Catholic Girls Cross Country Team completed one of the best seasons in school history by finishing 11th as a team at the 2022 IHSAA State Cross Country Championships. This is the best girls’ finish in school history. In addition, Bridget Gallagher finished 6th individually and captured the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award. She will be headed to Notre Dame next year to run for the Irish. 

Names: Rosie Barrett, Grace Boivin, Bailey Freese, Bridget Gallagher, Keira Hines, Katie Kolb, Claire Milam

Kenzie Garner | Basketball | Sheridan High School

Through the first six games, Kenzie Garner is leading the Lady Hawks with 17.2 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game in addition to 5 steals per game. 

Olivia Brown | Basketball | Hamilton Southeastern High School

She broke her own school record for assists in a game with 16 in HSE’s victory over Columbus East. Her season averages for the year:  6 ppg / 4.8 RPG / 7.5 APG / 3.8 steals pg / 6 deflections pg.

Sabrina Ledwith | Swimming | Noblesville High School

In her first High School dual meet against HSE, Sabrina took wins in her 200 and 500 Freestyle.

Olivia Smith | Basketball | Fishers High School

Senior Olivia Smith led a balanced effort with 13 points and Fishers defeated Anderson 73-18 on the last 9th of November and improved to 3-0 on the season.
