CHS Adminstrator Named to NASRO Board
Carmel Clay Schools is proud to announce CHS Associate Principal Karen McDaniel was named to the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) Governing Board. Mrs. McDaniel was nominated and approved to be an education representative for the governing board and will serve at least two years.
"Being considered for the NASRO board makes me proud of our district's work to promote students' emotional and physical safety," said Mrs. McDaniel. "I'm looking forward to representing and advocating for Carmel Clay Schools on a national level."
Mrs. McDaniel's position is not the first direct connection between NASRO and Carmel Clay Schools. CPD Lieutenant D.J. Schoeff is starting his two-year term as past president following the past six years serving as president and vice president of the organization.
Mrs. McDaniel, Lt. Schoeff, and multiple current CCS School Resource Officers and administrators recently attended the National School Safety Conference. To learn more, please visit the NASRO website.
