Washington, D.C. – On May 26, 2023, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) sent a letter to President Joe Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) highlighting warnings of the “unsustainable long-term fiscal path” by the Government Accountability Office and requesting a long-term fiscal plan.

“As a CPA with over a decade of professional experience, I am alarmed by the current fiscal state of our nation, as well as the Government Accountability Office, auditor of the federal government. We must develop meaningful solutions not messaging and talking points,” said Rep. Spartz.
