More About Steve Henke:
Steve Henke is a native Hoosier, having been born and raised in a small southern Indiana town of Holland before graduating from Indiana University Kelly School of Business in 1973 and Indiana University School of Law -Indianapolis in 1977. He practiced law more than 20 years in Carmel at Coots Henke and Wheeler, a firm he founded with Dave Coots. He began developing real estate in 1980 as part of the firm, building office buildings and flipping raw ground and developed Oakbrook subdivision on Gray Road and 143rd. He subsequently went of counsel to the firm in the late 90’s, formed his company Henke Development and developed the golf course communities of The Bridgewater Club, Chatham Hills, and Holliday Farms at Zionsville in addition to commercial multi use centers in Westfield and Zionsville and developed and built Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield and Grand Park Village. Current projects besides Holliday Farms and Chathan Hills, include Promontory and Bradley Farms developments at Zionsville, Gatewood Lakes next to Ruoff in Novblesville, Midtown at Westfield, Champions Park Kokomo, Waterford at Lebanon (a 2,200 acre development) and a thousand acre mixed use development west of Plainfield. He is married to his wife Kathy and his two children Brad and Betsy who are both key members of the Henke Development team.
