Hamilton County officials announced on April 1 that early voting for the upcoming election will begin at two locations in Noblesville starting Tuesday, April 7. Eight additional early voting sites across Carmel, Fishers, and Westfield are scheduled to open later on April 22.

The announcement is important for residents who want to vote before Election Day or need alternative options due to scheduling conflicts. Early voting provides flexibility and can help reduce lines at polling places on Election Day.

In Noblesville, voters can cast ballots at the Judicial Center from April 7 through May 4 during various hours, including some weekend times. The Hamilton County Fairgrounds will also serve as an early voting site with similar dates and hours of operation. Locations in Carmel include Wilfong Pavilion, Jill Perelman Pavilion, and Carmel Public Library; Fishers offers Roy G Holland Memorial Park Building and Billericay Park Building; while Westfield’s options include City Hall, Cool Creek Nature Center (located in Carmel), and Westfield Washington Township Offices. These eight sites will be open from April 22 through May 2 during afternoon or weekend hours.

The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, April 23 at midnight. Applications may be submitted electronically via www.indianavoters.com or requested by phone at 317-776-8476.

As early voting expands throughout Hamilton County this month, officials remind voters of the approaching absentee ballot deadline and encourage eligible residents to take advantage of these opportunities.
